    Chris is the founder of SouthHills Church which began in March 1998. SouthHills has become a multi-site church that has grown to many campuses across the nation. It has been recognized as one of the top 100 fastest-growing churches in America.

    He is also the founder of ChurchBOOM, an organization committed to coaching pastors throughout America and now in multiple countries, propelling churches and leaders to reach their potential. ChurchBOOM launched an initiative called Church Rescue. This initiative is designed to provide coaching, resources, and emergency funding to the thousands of churches that are struggling and possibly facing the reality of closing their doors.

    Chris has also authored several impactful books for church leaders. Some of his titles include his best-selling books, such as: ‘When Your Church Feels Stuck,’ ‘Quit Church,’ and his latest book ‘Traction.’

    Chris is well known for his dynamic speaking and his ability to inspire audiences from churches, conferences, and corporations. He is married to Laura, has two adult children, and has two granddaughters.
