The Oklahoma School of Ministry is a center for leadership development providing basic and continuing education for ministerial students, ministers, and Christian workers. This is accomplished by combining home study, classroom instruction, a student’s relationship with a mentor, and active involvement in ministry.

Why is it important?

For the Student
Oklahoma School of Ministry is designed for you.  You can complete all courses for one level in one year.  We have a game plan for you to follow.  This is an exciting way to meet your goals.  The personal study and interaction with other students is energizing.  We will keep you motivated as we study together.

For the Layperson
The layperson wanting to become better equipped through systematic bible study, this is an excellent way to gain the knowledge you desire. You will join with many other exciting students to study and discuss the scriptures.  You can get into the game with our game plan.

For the Minister
The ministry is a lot like other professions, there is always a need for continuing education.  We must be students of the Word.  Every sermon we preach or every lesson we teach is greatly effected by the amount of time we spend is Bible study.  The Executive Presbytery Board strongly encourages each credentialed minister, regardless of the level of credentials, continue their education.  The New Berean offers courses that have independent study text and student packets that are fresh and energizing.  This is a tremendous way for each minister in Oklahoma to energize their ministry.
