Nursery and child-care will be provided during the Monday and Tuesday evening sessions at no cost to our ministers. However, we request that you register your children in advance. The Oklahoma District is sponsoring an All Church Ministries Conference to be held in Owasso, Oklahoma at First Assembly of God. This conference is designed for ministry leadership within the local church.
ONE CONFERENCE:
Resourcing leadership - within the body
This will be an opportunity to invest in the lives of the people who are vital to the day-to-day ministries of your church. Whether your staff consists of full-time personnel, an army of volunteers, a core of people with a mix of gifts and abilities, seasoned workers, or aspiring beginners – all will benefit from this unique conference designed to enrich the local congregation.
Training is the key to effectiveness! Ministries within the body will never rise above the level of those providing leadership. This one weekend will provide an opportunity to raise the level of effectiveness of the multifaceted ministries that operate within the local church.
The keynote speaker will be George O. Wood, newly elected General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God.
Multiple break-outs and workshops - will be offered – specific to training the uniqueness of ministry. Instead of each department planning an event, this conference combines forces – offering churches one meeting - designed to enrich, motivate, and inspire leadership within the local body.
