Children's Ministry
Oklahoma Christian Education believes in the importance of ministry to children. As the church of today, kids must be equipped to face the challenges of living their Christian faith in a culture that opposes Godly beliefs. It is the desire of the Oklahoma Christian Education ministry to equip and empower an army of children's ministers with tools to communicate biblical truths in an exciting, relevant, and cutting edge manner. Our Camping Ministry, JBQ, and BGMC are just part of the many programs within Children's Ministry!
JBQ - Tremendous tool of ministry by teaching the word of God and yet making it very competitive.
B.G.M.C. - The Boys and Girls Missionary Crusade, or BGMC as it is more commonly known, is basically two things: raising funds for vital missions projects and building a missions foundation in our children. There is nothing greater than to get children involved in the effort of missions. Each year we have seen the giving effort increase. My goal is to get every church involved in BGMC. Camping Ministry - Every year we have children from all across Oklahoma convene at the Turner Falls campground. We offer Intermediate Camp for ages 11-13, Kids Kamp for ages 8-12, and Little Radicals Camp for ages 6-7.
Character Connex - Character Connex is a pre-packaged school assembly program that children's leaders can use to build relationships with their local public schools. The affordable kit comes complete with scripts, props, training DVDs, background DVDs, a background banner, and sound effects. The program can be done by a single person or a team. Fun Arts - Fun Arts is an exciting opportunity for children to use their gifts and talents for ministry. It's a Fun way to showcase their gifts in different categories including vocal, instrumental, drama, and other artistic expressions.
