Ideas for personal based fund raising
1. Send out a letter describing your trip to friends, relatives, parent's business associates, family doctor, etc. Always be sure to get the necessary permission to do this and send out than you letters for any support you receive.
2. Have a Bake Sale. Don't limit this to the church, but check into the possibility of doing it at a local store (ie: Wal-mart, etc...)
3. Start a business such as Dog walking, grass cutting, garage/house cleaning, baby sitting, trash hauling, window washing, curb painting, ironing, cleaning cages, balloon bouquets, make wake up calls, wash sheets & towels, make stationary, wrap gifts, fix bicycles, deliver food, cut coupons, sweep patios & garages, pull weeds, rake leaves, clean pools, babysitting, snow shoveling, house moving.
4. Have a garage sale or sell candy
5. Go to local business and volunteer to wash employees cars for a set amount while they are at work.
6. Get a job. Sounds simple but it is very true.
7. Make sacrifices. Buy a cheaper pair of shoes, skip Mazzio's, give up a trip, pop or movie
8. Sponsor an event such as a basketball, volleyball, softball tournament.
9. Have a golf club wash. Set up a booth on the 18 green of a golf course with permission from the club pro.
10. Sponsor a mothers day out
11. Make a coupon book with discounts to local businesses.
12. Have an a-thon. You know... rock-a-thon, bowl-a-thon, sleep-a-thon
13. Sell flowers or cards like for Mothers Day, sweet hearts
14. Do a sing-o-gram
15. Do typing for students

17. Put up Christmas lights
