SPEED THE LIGHT is the Assemblies of God program where teens can be involved in missions.  The money given by the young people provides Transportation and Communications equipment for missionaries around the world.  The single driving purpose behind Speed The Light is that the equipment be used for evangelism.

Each student who gives at least $100 by Youth Convention will be entered in a drawing on Friday morning of Youth Convention.  OYM will pay for the student who's name is drawn to go on an AIM trip the following summer.  The winner must be a student in 6th - 12th grade.  The student must prove they have given at least $100 by church receipts and pastoral verification.
